Jegen Horst, German cat’s wildlife photographer, noticed that his cat’s food disappeared from time to time, so he decided to catch the thief red-handed. He set a trap with his camera, a log and an egg.
Jegen placed the egg inside a hollowed log with a button underneath.
Attached to the trigger was a cable connected to his cameras shutter, which activated the second the sneaky fox poked his head in the log and took the egg. The surprised face of the fox is perfectly seen on this picture.
